The first group I contacted was slow and unclear about costs. Using the vetting checklist, I knew what to ask—fees, schedule, instructor access—and found a chapter that took time to answer everything face-to-face.

Early experiences exposed red flags—unclear fees, no published training schedule, and slow responses—so she started asking the right questions before paying dues. What is your policy on Refunds, Renewals, and Cancellations?
Membership Renewal
Memberships renew annually on your renewal date. You’ll receive a reminder email at least 3 days prior.
You can turn off auto-renew at any time in My Account → View Subscription using the renewal toggle.
Early renewal is also available from the same page.
Refunds
Membership fees become non-refundable once a new term begins.
Physical keepsakes are shipped after your annual renewal.
If a keepsake arrives damaged or does not arrive, contact the Chamber Secretariat within 30 days for a replacement.
Upgrades & Downgrades
Tier changes take effect at the start of your next billing cycle, unless otherwise noted at checkout.
Any trials, prorations, or credits will be shown before you confirm payment.

How does course matching work? (Coming Soon)
• What it is: A Best of Black 2A Course Guide that uses chat and structured search to recommend classes and instructors matched to your goals, location, schedule, and experience level.
• How it works: Set your preferences in the Portal and ask the Guide for what you need (e.g., “intro pistol within 20 miles, weekday evenings”).
• What you receive: A refined list of options with links and clear next steps, plus tools to narrow by skill level, time, budget, or modality.
• Controls: Update preferences anytime, pause recommendations, or clear recent searches.
• Sources: BB2A listings and partner data; results improve as new providers are added.
• Limits: Recommendations are guidance only, not a guarantee of placement or outcomes. Booking and payment are handled directly with providers unless otherwise noted.
I’m new and don’t own a firearm yet—Is BB2A still right for me?
Yes. Many members start as aspirants. Search our firearm professionals or ranges that offer rentals and to find intro classes, safety courses, and non-live-fire options. You can train fundamentals before purchasing gear.
Is training included with my membership?
Training is not bundled. BB2A connects you to vetted classes and instructors; you book and pay providers directly unless a listing clearly says otherwise.
Can I upgrade or downgrade later?
Yes. You can change tiers. Upgrades or downgrades take effect at your next billing cycle unless an offer states otherwise at checkout.
What’s BB2A’s role in club or instructor quality?
We provide education, tools, and a directory. Providers operate independently. Always review provider policies and ask questions before booking. BB2A does not accredit training quality or provide legal advice.

How Course Matching Works
Concierge Course Matching uses AI-informed insights and filters to help surface instructors whose skills, offerings, and proximity align with what you need.
You are not assigned to anyone. You compare, reach out, and choose. The matching system exists to save you time and help you focus on the training that fits you best.
Will the Lineageship™ Ever Take Public Positions
The Lineageship™ was founded inside a real Black American reality, where culture, safety, law, and identity intersect. For now, the focus is the development of skill, discipline, and a trusted training ecosystem.
As the House of Best of Black 2A grows, there may be moments where speaking clearly or organizing responsibly becomes necessary to protect Black families, Black men, and Black women. If advocacy emerges, it will be done lawfully, transparently and with the community’s voice and safety at the center.
Who Leads the Lineageship™ and Why That Matters
The Lineageship™ was founded by a Black American woman whose lineage is rooted in this land, in Appalachian and Indigenous Black American history, and in a family tradition of discipline, training, and cultural clarity.
This leadership perspective matters. It brings insight into both the vulnerabilities and the strengths of Black women, Black men, and Black families in firearm spaces. It shapes how safety is discussed, how instructors are presented, how culture is protected, and how the ecosystem responds to the realities our people face.
